Title: The One Programme in the South West

A leadership development programme: proven, powerful and profound

ONE is a year-long programme broken down into a series of modules and backed up with coaching and support. The 2007 Programme is being run exclusively in the South West and brings some of biggest names in business management to the region over the course of the year. Contributors include top motivational speaker Jack Black, a one day seminar on NLP  plus two significant modules from FranklinCovey. (Dr Stephen Covey’s book ‘The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People’ is widely regarded as the most influential business book of the 20th Century).

The Programme has been developed by Falmouth-based business woman Ingrid Heseltine whose project development consultancy De Facto is one of the region’s business success stories.  It was Ingrid’s own experience in management that prompted her to create the ONE programme.

“Leadership and organisational performance are critical factors to the South West’s economic success. It’s a tough job being a leader and the challenges seem greater than ever but, until relatively recently, leaders were expected to perform their jobs with very little support.

“To make a positive difference to their own businesses, leaders need to have time to look at their own personal development. For ONE, we’ve drawn together some of the UK’s leading thinkers on leadership to share stimulating new insights and a sophisticated toolkit of ideas and processes to enable leaders in this region to achieve more.

“There’s already been a tremendous response to the ONE programme with support from some of the top businesses in the region. Our intention is to run it exclusively in the South West for this year and then roll it out nationally” she said.
